Quotation & Design

Whatever your requirements, Sedgley Control Systems can help you through the whole of your design process. Our talented team works meticulously to provide designs both we and our clients are proud of.

Whatever your requirements, be it a one off wall mounted enclosure or a complete control system incorporating a large bayed control suite requiring software and supervisory systems, our engineers will develop a quotation based on your application, process or even an existing system.

If required we can work with to you produce a detailed FDS (Functional Design Specification) and also FAT/SAT specifications for prior approval by the end user.

Software & Commissioning

Our engineers have a wealth of experience and knowledge of working with a variety of PLC's (Siemens, AllenBradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron...), HMI's (Siemens, PanelView, Beijer, Proface) and SCADA (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware).

We also have vast experience in configuring discrete process instrumentation from manufacturers such as Eurotherm and Honeywell.

We ensure that your systems are configured, programmed and commissioned to exacting standards and provide all the necessary documentation to accompany such systems including comprehensive yet concise operating manuals.

Manufacture and Installation

At Sedgley Control Systems we pride ourselves on the quality of our manufacture, building control panels to stand the tests of time using only the finest components from reputable manufacturers.

All of our control panels are subject to a thorough and documented Factory Acceptance Test prior to leaving. Often these tests are witnessed by our clients.

Aftercare

We truly believe that aftercare is the most important part of a project. We offer a 24hr 365 day a year service to give our clients confidence that they will never be left out in the wild.

We also provide breakdown and service support to other manufacturers equipment, often able to provide a more economical solution than an OEM.

Upgrades and Compliance Projects

There is a vast install base of PLC's and Instrumentation installed in the 80's and 90's now reaching obsolescence, Sedgley Control Systems have migrated a large number of these systems to incorporate the latest products manufacturers have to offer, ensuring a reliable system for years to come.

It is much better to plan a system migration project than for the hand to be forced by a breakdown when parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source for these older systems. We are able however, to provide an expedited service for that nightmare situation.

Over the years, regulations have developed. SCS can provide machine audits to develop a system compliant with the latest regulations.
